Last 1/2 day b4 Easter break!!!! boooooo! R U scared? Cuz, I am! haha. Hopefully this will also be the last day of clouds and slosh...at least for this week.
Today at theater class G is the "STAR OF THE DAY" This means bring in things that show a bit about you, and...sing a song with the mic for the class....OH! We are a bit excited...G is bringing: Genevieve, Iwaku erasers in a jar, and a tiny Peter Pan guy.

Oh! The rain!!!!! Our yard looks like a swampland. G wanted to wear her Yankees cap to school for extra head protection. This progressed into 20 questions about the sport of baseball...hmmmmmm, Douglas family+sports=


FAIL.

But, being a dutiful Mommy, I bestowed upon my lovely daughter everything I had to give about Baseball.
You know, everything I ever learned from Eighth grade P.E. and from Ferris Bueller. Golf claps. Thank you. Thank you.

another rainy Monday. BUT.... the Dragon movie was "totally the most awesome" except Jackson jibberjabbers through everything. Good thing we weren't in a NYC theater, and no one heckled US! ;)

All I can say about G is....she can't wait to see where the crazy bunny hides her basket...he better have some new ideas. the Douglas kids are a tough bunch.

Rain for 3 days in a row? Sudden temperature drop to 40 degrees? Throat starting to "feel funny?" Someone in her class already sick this week? Does it get our girl down? Hells no!!!!! School colors and new rain boots will save the day. Plus, one more day until Snow White rehearsal. AND...4 days until the Dragon movie!!!! (ya know, cuz sometimes she's a dragon now)

So.....a couple more days of rain. then, spring will be here! yeah!!! We really had a hard time getting up this mornin. Many towns have no school because of damage from the storm, and no power. We were lucky enough to keep ours...but Gwas just a little bit of devastated that there wasn't a "delay"....the teen years are gonna be HHHAAARRRDDD!
