G is all in brown again...kinda always in a monochromatic mood. The antlers and blinking nose were added later for her "entrance" into the classroom today. Don't ya bet that her teacher just LOVES Mommy?! Jasper was hangin with the Peanuts gang last night...skating, making magic kaleidoscopes, and donating his blanket to Linus...his has gone missing...This is one of I'm sure to be many Winter windowscapes! This morning she asked what when we are gonna put up the Kwanza decorations...hmmmmm.Let's keep adding holidays, we aren't crazy enough as is! right?!
Thursday the 3rd! Jasper knows that this house loves us some M&Ms. He was all layed out on the dining table with Sock Monkey again. That crazy monkey seems to be his BFF of all of G's "sleeping guys!" Yes, you do see rolled jeans...A LA Katie Holmes...A LA Mommy in 8th grade! or the dude from Shanana!

We were runnin late...Jacks is more than happy to stand-in.... Yeah, I don't get the pose either! haha maybe it will be his signature pose..like G's thumbs up! Jasper apparently had a full on party with the ever-crazy sock monkey last night. Blankets on their heads this morning sittin on top of bananas...and delivering extremely loud slide whistles! Loudness+no coffee= TIRED!!!!!

Just because we were sad to see Katie go this morning, doesn't mean we weren't crazy festive this December first. Jasper "made" rudolph noses for Gracie and Jackson last night. We think she put together another "Charlize Theron/Arrested development outfit" She rocks!!!

Day one of December...Jasper's first surprise for us....Paper chains all over the ceiling in the kitchen. Wow!! he's super crafty, and fast. Gracie fell over when she saw him waiting for her in her bed clutching remnants of his mischief!

So... G wrote her letter to Santa and invited one of his elves to Casa Douglas. Ya know...cuz we're magic around here! And lo and behold...there was a knock at the door Sunday morning. Her stuffed dog, Genevieve (also magic btw) was outside helping get our attention to let Jasper in. He is a magical elf who comes to life at night with the rest of her "sleeping guys" he makes mischief and leaves little treats every day in December until Christmas. And....he keeps an eye on certain kiddos during the daytime as he"sleeps". he came with magic stones and lots of candy canes. Ya know, the only thing elves eat!

This is Saturday. We all went for the first time to cut our own tree! Man, that was fun...ya know, watchin Chuck cut the tree while we cheered! It was just cold enough for G to wear her new J. Crew knockoff Target snow boots...

Yes it is now Thursday. Like I said...a little skipping and some random posts! Sorry. This is the whole turkey lovin clan, as rarely seen together. We had Aunt Katie with us, so we actually got a group shot.

The neverending parade of stripes! It isn't even Wednesday. G got to present her science project today...and here's the kicker... I had sent her teacher pictures and info about how it went. This wonderful woman then put up the pictures as a slide show in class. G was thrilled, as were her friends! It hepls to have a crazy Mommy who likes to photograph EVERYthing!

whew!!!! a few sick days, and craziness with fevers again! AND...we're back (backtracking, that is!) This was actually G on Sunday night doing a super fun first "official" science experiment for school. She was jazzed...and also portraying a cat at the same time.
