All G wanted to do this morning was "hibernate". "It's sooo cold and I'm soooo tired!" yeah, well that's what 11 hours of sleep and 50 degrees will do to you! I used to walk 3 miles in the snow to school!!!! wait... I went to school in New Orleans! ha

Ahhhhhhhhh! Lil G now officially understands why people get so jazzed about the weekend. First week of full day Kindergarten at the Academy...and she is pooped! She woke up and said "get this mom! we haven't even had one single day of show and tell...I gotta get on that!" Her preschool had show and tell EVERY day. So she's in withdrawal. She took her Thumb piano....to show them something from "her" culture!hah

We are soooo excited! A spot opened up at the international school! All day Kindergarten!!! woohoo! Of course, they have Spanish 3 days a week, so we are a little behind in that subject...however, G greeted the class with a loud "hola amigos!!!!" and then a bunch of made up words and a little Skippyjon Jones for good measure. I think she thinks they only speak spanish!!! haha

Well, another First day for Lil G!!! She got a spot at the charter school!!! woohooo. This is her extra fancy outfit for the tour of the school. Plus Snoopy apparently equals Peace. so, there you go!

So , yes...it's a Cure reference! Apparently, these tights make her the Caterpillar from Alice in wonderland...each stripe is when his mood changes! G is playing the Cheshire cat in the play in February! Beyond excited. Now all we talk about is "stage direction"and "rehearsing my lines!" heaven help us!!!

Apparently when you are "truly a good exerciser" you can do the Hans and Frans pose...this I can do!! Plus, the mother of the only other child at the bus stop this morning told me that yesterday the driver in the afternoon dropped her off with no one there to get her(her babysitter was late). When she told him no one was there for her...he said "3rd graders can walk home by themselves!" Can't quite describe the expression on G's face. "mommy, that's soo awesome. I can't wait to be a 3rd grader and walk down this street!!!" I die..I die(and not in the good rachel zoe way folks!)....
